If you want to use it for reparations on your board, the thick of the cork must to be the same as the original PVC. 3mm on the top and 5mm on the bottom of the board.
The PVC and the cork used in a sandwich has no mechanical use, only separate the layers of glass or carbon fibre.

Unglaubliche Reparatur. Styropor mit Montageschaum eingeklebt und als Holzersatz Kork genommen.
Besser mit einer Oberfräse viereckige Löcher an den Bruchstellen machen, passende Styroporklötze einkleben, Glas, darauf Airex, Glas, auf Kante Balsaholz drauf, 160iger Glas und Finish.

Das Sandwich-Abstandsmaterial sollte möglichst hart und möglichst leicht sein.
Kork ist sehr elastisch, weich und relativ schwer, also wirklich völlig ungeeignet.
Eine Reparatur mit diesem Material ist kompletter Blödsinn !!!!! -
ist das airex wirklich nötig als zwischenschicht bei einer reparatur?
